Recent Scores: | Check Meowt Tee | Love Those Hogs Tee | Tee Shirt Necklace |

Time again for some of my recent scores y'all! And I going to start with something I just actually picked up yesterday. I first found this tee by blogging of course, ha. ( see katiemccskronicles)

As soon as I saw this tee on that blog, I had to have it and I'm not much of a graphic tee person to be honest. I don't see how when you look at it you don't just crack up a little! I already have plans to wear it tomorrow while I'm out shopping. I can't find this on Target.com but you may be able to find it in your local Target store just like I did. Be sure to look in the mens section!

I picked up this tee during a sidewalk sale (only $10!) that was going on in the mall while I was home over the weekend in Fayetteville visiting the fam. Being a hog fan and a hog alum, there was just no way that I could go home without this little baby. I think I have about 5 or 6 of these v-neck tees from the Houndstooth Razorback Collection. I love how they make these tees girly so that I feel cute and not like a bum just rolling out of bed when I wear one. There perfect for those lazy weekends when you need to run out for a few errands but don't want to get all guzzied up. ha

Last but not least, is this ADORBS tee shirt necklace I scored from Groopdealz. If you haven't already heard about Groopdealz, you need to check them out! They have new items everyday, and at great prices! I picked this necklace up for only $10 and it was free shipping...you can't beat it! I have had my eye on these necklaces for awhile now, but wasn't wanting to pay the like $50 that I kept seeing them at. So when I saw this one for only $10, I think I bought it without even thinking! Since they only keep items on the site for a few days, you aren't able to pick this piece up anymore, but I found a similar option that is just as good of a deal!

Thanks for reading today y'all! Enjoy the weekend!

Addicted to FB Shopping

deets: | top: local boutique | skirt: jcpenny | belt: F21 | tights: target | boots: fossil | necklace: local boutique |

So I took these pictures last week when we had a flash (one day) of bad weather down here. im talking about looks like a light dusting on the ground, but underneath is a terrible monster known as ice. curse that frozen water! it sure made driving a little bit tricky. And of course I almost lost my nose to frostbite while I was shooting these. Ha.

Any guesses on what those cute little animals are on my shirt....yes, those are zebras! I am a terrible awesome FB shopping addict and this shirt is one of the many  items ive bought on there. i wish i had gotten a picture of the back though--it is super cute with buttons all the way up. although, since this was a FB purchase (on major sale!) i was not able to try it on in person and it is a little shorter than i would like. I really like the fun, quirky quality that it adds to my look, especially on cold days when it feels like you might die just stepping out of the house. Can't wait to see what else I can put this top with!

p.s. I'm hoping to get my pinterest linked up here on my blog soon so y'all can
take a peek at what I find on there! Until then though...y'all can check it out here!

Get in MY Belly: Puffed Bluberry Angel Food Cake

Alright y'all, I back with another Wednesday 'Get in MY Belly' post. I have another quick and easy one for you today that needs only 2 ingredients. I found this little jem off Pinterest a few months ago and just haven't gotten around to making it. But boy was I glad I did!

step 1: start with preheating your oven to 350 degrees. gather one 21 ounce can of pie filling (you can use any flavor you choose, I just happened to get blueberry!) and one box of angel food cake mix.

step 2: pour the pie filling and the cake mix into a mixing bowl and stir until well mixed. (I just used my trusty spatula for this. This does take a little bit of time to make sure that all of the cake mix has been stirred into the pie filling, but when it is finished your mixture should be nice and fluffy--see below!)
Your mixture will double in size!
step 3: now it is time to pour all of the mixture into a greased (I just used a spray)
9x13 pan and pop it right into the oven!

step 4: after about 28-30 minutes it is now time to take it out! you can see from the picture how much it puffed up!

of course now is the best part....it's time to eat! I let mine cool on the counter for about 15 minutes or so. (It also looked liked it needed a few more minutes of out of the oven cooking time to firm up in the middle.) I sadly  didn't have any in my freezer, but I think that some vanilla frozen yogurt would make this AMAZEballs!

I hope y'all enjoy as much as me and the bf did!

Heart Sweater

deets: | top: gap | sweater: old navy | skirt: target | boots: fossil |

So today was one of those lucky days where I woke up right on time, had no trouble getting ready, and my outfit already decided on. This almost never happens. I just happened to have this combo hanging in my closet for a couple of weeks now. I love that graphic sweaters came in this season, and I'm so happy that I snatched this one up on a random shopping trip to Old Navy a few months ago. The options to style this little baby are endless. I have worn a striped tee under, had it tucked into a skirt, worn it over skinnys with a moto jacket and tons more! Nothing beats a cute little sweater to not make the day so blah when I'm heading back to work after the long holiday.

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for another 'get in my belly' post.
My Pinterest board strikes again!

Thanks for reading y'all!

Outfit Crush: Pulled Together Comfy

Pinned Image

happy monday y'all!

what can i say about this look, but love! the ease of the graphic tee pulled together with the great mix of the leopard cardi and the classic skinny jean that goes with everything. i even like her messy hair, hey why not, some days you just don't care. this would be me today. it is MLK day so that equals holiday off from work (always welcomed in my book). after a great weekend in Fayetteville spending time with my fam, aka--hitting up sonic happy hour and getting mani/pedi with my little sis, its nice to come home and have an extra day to just relax and enjoy this gorg weather we have been having here lately. i would never turn away a 60 degree day anytime!

if y'all are as lucky as me today, go and enjoy your extra day off! make it a good one y'all.

Recent Scores: Spiked Flats | Glitter Booties

So I thought I would share with y'all some of my recent scores! Today they just
happen to be 2 AMAZEballs pairs of shoes.

I actually got these Aldo studded flats for Christmas from my sister, but there was a sizing mistake (the box said my size but the shoes inside were an 8, WAY too small for my huge foot!), so I just got the new ones in the mail this past week. They are sooo cute! I love the nude color, which allows them to go with everything and anything in my closet, and the spikes add just enough edge and texture to make any outfit interesting!

and you've already seen these Wanted glitter booties from yesterdays post. I have had my eye on these beauties for quite some time now. I just happened to get online on day and they were marked down to $45, plus I had a gift card so I got these for only $25! Such a deal from the regular price of $90! Booties have been everywhere this season, and you can't beat a glitter bootie, so I can't wait to start planning more cute ways to wear these! I'm thinking anything with skinny jeans!

thanks for reading y'all! Enjoy your weekend!
